It wasn’t so long ago when Adidas released their NMD R1 sneakers and ruled the market. And even though that sneaker collection is still raking in huge chunks of money, the giant shoe manufacturing company has already decided to move on and is more than ready enough to release a new line of sneakers that will surely sell like hotcakes. And just a few days ago, Adidas has unveiled their new NMD R2 sneakers which are set to be released as soon as the first week of April 2017.
A day before the company’s annual ‘Air Max Day’, the company has released their 2017 shoe collection, including the NMD R2 sneakers and a couple of UltraBoost 3.0’s new colorways. Adidas’s new NMD R2 running shoe collection closely follows the aesthetic of the first NMD generation. And one easy indicator of that is the three stripes primeknit material partnered with the boost mid sole.
Adidas’s new footwear features quality primeknit upper with white stripes woven into the sides. It also has welded side panels that display the subtle three stripes mark. It has the classic white laces and midsole. The new full-length Boost sole integrated in the shoes also means that it will have the same cushioning as the UltraBoost series. The look is completed by tonal details such as core red rubber outer sole, medial bumper and heel tab. Although the white and the red NMD R2 model is already confirmed, there have been various teasers for other colors and designs as well, including the NMD Hong Kong pack which boasts black, red and white combo running shoes.
The NMD R2 white and gym red shoes is set to have a worldwide release this coming April 6, 2017. And more news about Adidas’s latest products are expected to come over the next couple of days.
