The First Lady Slays In Gucci On Ellen

Aside from being a fitness advocate, philanthropist and the nation’s first lady, a fashion icon is also something that Michelle Obama is known for. Over the past couple of years, the first lady always made sure that her fashion style is on point regardless of the event that she’s in. Dresses that accentuate figures have been a part of her signature look and it placed her as one of the fashion critics’ most loved icons. And just recently, she once again wowed the world with her style by wearing a figure-hugging Gucci dress on her visit to The Ellen DeGeneres show.

Gucci is probably one of the biggest, if not the actual biggest, fashion brands in the world. Known for their majestic jackets, classic bags, purses, loafers and dresses, the Italian house products have been a staple part of any Fashionista’s closet.  To own a legit Gucci item solidifies one’s fashion status and taste. That’s why it’s no surprise that Michele Obama chose to wear one on her recent visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show. And let me tell you this, she N-A-I-L-E-D IT!

The dress, which is a part of their 2016 spring/summer collection, is very remarkable due to its prints. The design is based from the 1964 map created by Madeleine de Scudery, a novelist and a philosopher. The map is made by De Scudery as a guide to romance for her readers. Aside from that, her outfit also has a sequin detail around the neckline and waist. The figure flattering dress by Gucci can be bought at the price of £2,270.

Aside from her head turner Gucci dress, Michele Obama has been previously photographed in amazing clothes by designers Christopher Kane, Thakoon, Altuzarra Roksanda Ilincic and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi.
